MIROSLAV BARUS

Head coach

Miroslav is one of the founders of Overseas Agency.
Miroslav started playing hockey in Vsetín, and at the age of 15 he moved to Brno, where he began his professional career at the Zetor Brno club. He later moved back to his hometown, where he first fought his way to the Czech Extraliga with Vsetín, later winning two titles.
During his career in the highest Czech competition, he played over 500 matches for Vsetín, České Budějovice, Karlovy Vary, Zlín and Znojmo. He played over 1000 matches in the highest Czech competitions in total.
After he ended his active career, Miroslav decided to coach young hockey players in Kometa Brno. He later moved on to men’s teams in Břeclav, Hodonín and Havlíčkův Brod.
He is currently the head coach of teenagers in Vsetín.
During his coaching of young hockey players, he is also involved in WSI tournaments, VTM, skills training and camps, and he is the head coach at Overseas.
